From her studio in South Devon, Kate Stubbs offers a broad range of paint finishes from washes and distressing through to imitation or fantasy woods and marbles.

She can create customized stencils and produce ‘brushstroke work’ where organic lively images are painted directly onto any interior surface.

This is a very practical and flexible service, it can incorporate and enhance existing architectural features and colour schemes. Commercially, interior decorative painting can be used to portray an exclusive image and set a specific ambience.

Kate has a background in scenery and prop. making for film, television and theatre and is a qualified painter and decorator.

Her inspirations come from many sources including Eastern European Folk Art, The English ‘Arts & Crafts’ and Bloomsbury Movements, Swedish Gustavian and Kurbits painting and Indian painted interiors.
